Chai black tea, is a staple in India. It is highly sought after for its spicy rich flavor. A chai tea is simply a spiced tea. Black tea is often simmered with milk and sugar for a couple of hours, to create a rich, smooth taste. A fresh brewed cup of tea is very easy to find on the streets of India, but in other parts of the world it can be a little tough to come by.
The flavor will depend on the different types of spices that are used while cooking the black tea. The most common spices that are brewed with the black tea are cinnamon, ginger, star, anise, cardamom, cloves and peppercorn. Some may use nutmeg as well. These are considered warm spices and are very aromatic. Fall flavors come to mind when I drink chai tea. A combination of these spices is often used in chai black tea recipes. These particular spices are used because they will not overpower the tea.

Black tea by itself is a very strong tea. Many people enjoy black tea for its health properties, but do not care for the strong taste. Whole milk is usually used to create a rich flavor. It is possible to use powdered creamer or half and half as well if that is all that is available.

Chai Black Tea Is drunk Widely Throughout India

Chai black tea mixes are available at most grocery stores. These mixes are a concentrated tea based syrup. The only thing that needs to be added is milk or water, or both. Coffee shops usually use these concentrates rather than brewing chai black tea from scratch. The chai tea can also be purchased in a powder form. These powder teas are best served in hot water.

Tea bags are also sold in supermarkets that are made with chai spices and either black or green tea. These are steeped in a cup of hot water, and are great for traveling. These tea bags are usually made with cinnamon as the dominant spice.

None of these alternatives can compare to a real cup of chai black tea, but they come very close, and they are convenient. It is a nice option to be able to grab a cup of tea whenever the desire occurs.

The connection between drinking natural tea and weight loss is a difficult thing to prove for some skeptics. Drinking tea can be an enjoyable experience, and unlike many weight loss regimens it is not unhealthy for you. People have been drinking tea for centuries as a remedy for ailments and as a way to stay healthy. Tea drinking can be related to weight loss for a couple of very good reasons.

For one, tea is actually quite filling. It makes you feel full, which will decrease the amount of food you eat, thus less calorie intake. Drinking tea is much healthier than drinking coffee or soft drinks. Soft drinks are loaded with sugar and sodium and are very fattening. Replacing a morning cup of coffee with a cup of tea, is a great way to get the body going for the day. Most teas contain some caffeine, but it is possible to purchase caffeine free teas if a person does not want it.

The second great thing about drinking natural tea, is the antioxidants that are in the tea. There are several teas that are natural immune system boosters. The antioxidants found in teas also help your body get rid of toxins that may be hiding in your body. These toxins slow down your body’s natural functions including the metabolism. A good, healthy metabolism is necessary to burn calories. Drinking tea and weight loss go hand in hand because of the powerful antioxidants. Green tea is a great tea for those who want to lose weight because it does speed up body’s ability to burn fat quicker as well.

Include Tea in your diet and it could help you shift the pounds

The benefits of tea and weight loss are often debated by healthcare professionals. There have not been any scientific studies to prove the benefits between drinking tea and weight loss. However, the Chinese people have been drinking tea for centuries, and have had great success with it. Green tea and weight loss are often used as a marketing strategy for many diet pills. Black tea is another great tea for those who want to lose weight.

A fresh brewed cup of tea is also a great way to relax after a trying day. Drinking a cup of tea, instead of munching on an unhealthy snack is the perfect way to end a busy day

Esiak tea (actually Essiac tea) is an herbal tea that many people do not know about; this tea is a natural health enhancer that was first found by the Indians and was used by them as a remedy for different health complications, rejuvenation, and tension relief. The tea was first popularised by Canadian nurse named Rene Caisse in fact it was Rene who named the tea, Essiac is simply Caisse backwards (inventive eh?).

Esiak tea is also said to have helped people who have Cancer. The primary herbs that this tea contains are Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel, Rhubarb Root, and Slippery Elm Bark. Other herbs that can be in the tea are kelp, blessed thistle, red clover, and watercress. You can purchase Esiak tea in a concentrated liquid form to ensure that you get the highest potency available; this concentrated tea is made using 1-½ lbs of the mixed herbs per 1 gallon of water. You can also purchase the tea in herbal form so you can brew it yourself at home. This tea also helps with detoxification and your overall health, drinking one cup a day is recommended by many people because it is known to strengthen your immune system as well.

During fall and winter the flu season occurs, this is the perfect time to drink a hot cup of Esiak tea to help strengthen your immune system. If preparing your tea by using tea bags, simply poor boiling water over your tea bag and allow the tea to steep for 5-10minutes. If you are preparing the concentrated tea, simply shake the bottle well, add one

tablespoon to cold or hot purified water. Taking this tea on an empty stomach is preferred for maximum health and detoxification effects. Many individuals use this tea as a dietary and detoxification product as well as a way of rejuvenating their body and replenishing it with natural nutrients and herbs.

A concentrated bottle of this herbal tea can cost around $20.00, and a package of 30 tea bags can cost around $4.00-$5.00. Holistic healing and practicing wellness in your life is important in order to live your life healthy and free of stress. Adding this herbal tea to your diet everyday can help stimulate and energize your body, while giving you a sense of wellness throughout your day.

What Are The Benefits of Slimming Tea

It is good, easy to prepare, inexpensive, can be drunk at any time of day, warm in winter and cool summer releases a pleasant smell to choose among dozens of varieties. But above all, tea is packed with benefits for body and mind.

Slimming Tea Antioxidants
Tea is full of antioxidants, including polyphenols, known to fight against free radicals, responsible for our aging and disease factors. It helps protect the heart and cells. However, overweight increases oxidation (aging) and reduces natural defenses. If one has to lose kilos, tea can protect heart health. It is also lower cholesterol, the good at the expense of increasing bad.

Slimming and Detox
Make no mistake! Slimming tea is not a magic potion that would drink to eliminate the calories swallowed elsewhere. In addition to its many virtues health, tea is rich in water, thereby eliminating toxins, essential in the context of a regime. Moreover, caffeine is a component slimming effectiveness repeatedly proven. It reinforces the basic metabolism (body’s ability to burn energy at rest), increases thermogenesis (making heat by the body) and promotes satiety.

Anti-stress
Slimming tea is at once stimulating and soothing. Astonishing but true: it contains the amino acid theanine, which increases the stimulant effects of caffeine without suffering the effects of stimulants. This differs from the coffee, too rich in caffeine.

Slimming tea is the ultimate weapon against the pounds! At least the claims of many merchants diet pills and herbal oriented slimming.

For best results Slimming Tea should be taken as part of a balanced diet

In reality, if we are to believe the scientific studies, the action of slimming tea on the pounds seems very doubtful. It has been shown that tea does not address the fat cells and does not absorb fat meals.

It is therefore pointless to believe that tea “makes you lose weight”. Of course, if you do not add sugar, one cup will bring only two small calories and can, thanks to its powerful diuretic, help eliminate toxins in the framework of a regime-protein for which he must drink much. Another advantage: the content of tea caffeine, better known under the incorrect name of caffeine. This natural stimulant helps you avoid lap bar and other small fatigue related to your low calorie diet. If you start to tire of your bottle of water, tea seems to be the best alternative. Finally, a large cup of slimming tea could act as an appetite suppressant in case of munchies.

Chai tea is a spiced, sweet milky tea drink that is commonly made with cardamon and other spices, which is usually stewed and brewed black tea. Chai is an Indian tradition that has been shared and loved by the rest of the world.
Spiced chai should be the color and richness of hot chocolate and can be served either hot or cold. Depending on what type of tea you would like to have it with. Most people make the tea at first and then add the chai when they are ready to serve the spiced mixture.

Chai spice can be made at home, out of lots of different spices mixed together. Such as blackpepper, allspice, cloves, cinnamon, cardamon, vanilla bean, ginger, coriander seed, mace, nutmeg, fennel, bay leaf, and star anise. As you can see, spice chai is a combination of many, many things. The flavor is very distinct and powerful.

There is now an ‘American way’ of making spice chai, usually found at coffee shops and the ever popular Starbucks. However this is not the true version of chai. The American way is highly-sweetened and barely has the spice that true spice chai has. This is only a mini-taste of the tradition Eastern drink. We recommend making your own.

Spiced Chai Tea - An Authentic Indian Favorite and tradition

With that being said, if you are wanting the true taste of spice chai, then you can look at your local grocery and try to see if there are chai spices or spice mixes so that you can try to make your own spice chai. You can look for recipes in cookbooks or on the internet to find the true milky mixture. If your grocer does not have chai, then you can try specialty store, cooking stores, or health food stores where you may find certain spices that you regularly cannot find in the local grocery store.

There are also internet-based stores so that you can have access to all the spices you may want or need. You can try and find an online shop where you can find chai and other spices you need to make the Eastern spiced milk.

Once you have made the milky spice chai then you can start to vary the spices according to you and your family and friend’s taste. If you want a little bit less of something or more of another, then you can do what you want. If you do not want to use sugar, you might want to try honey or brown sugar. If you want the spice chai to be stronger, then try simmering the mixture with your tea as it is brewing.

Spice chai is the milky tea that has made it’s way around the world.
